Abuse reports
Report abuse
Seen phishing, malware, spam or something illegal on a site that runs with us, for example an address ending in apps.wharfcloud.co.uk? Tell us here. You do not need an account, and you can report anonymously.
Prefer email? Write to abuse@wharfcloud.co.uk.
What helps us act quickly
- The full web address, including the path, for example the exact login page.
- What you saw and when, in UK time if you can.
- For email abuse: the full message headers, pasted as text.
- For copyright or trade marks: the work you own and where the copy appears.
- Please do not send attachments or the malware itself. Describe it, and we will look.
Kinds of report: phishing or a fake login page, malware or a malicious download, spam or unsolicited email, cryptocurrency mining, illegal content, copyright or trade mark infringement, something else.
What happens next
- 01
We check the address
We confirm whether it runs on our platform and which service it belongs to.
- 02
We act on the risk
We act on phishing and malware reports first, usually the same day. Other reports are reviewed within 1 working day.
- 03
We tell the customer
We tell our customer what was reported and what we did. Where there is a clear risk to people, we take the address offline first and talk afterwards.
- 04
We keep a record
Every action is recorded. We cooperate with lawful requests from the police and other authorities.
We do not pass your name or email address to our customer unless you agree or the law requires it. If you leave an email address we may ask you for more detail, but we cannot always tell you the outcome.
Other ways to reach us
- Email abuse@wharfcloud.co.uk with the same details.
- Report phishing that pretends to be a UK organisation to the National Cyber Security Centre too, by forwarding the email to report@phishing.gov.uk or a suspicious website at ncsc.gov.uk/section/about-this-website/report-scam-website (opens in a new tab).
- If you are a WharfCloud customer with a problem on your own service, raise a ticket in your panel instead.
Our acceptable use policy sets out what is not allowed and how takedowns work.
